My human and I want to provide you with a space where you can discover and learn about quality made and tested pet products! We want this to be a spot where you can find fun ideas for you and your pooch, and of course some Frenchie fashion!
First up is a flash back to my 1st birthday! Mom wanted to find treats that I would love and that would last (not get all gross in two days trust us its happened and its not fun) and look stinkin adorable! But first she discovered these adorable French Bulldog cookie cutters that you could customize with your own name. You can order them in all different dog or cat shapes! Not only does the cookie cutter work like a charm it comes adorably packaged (we die for cute packaging). At the end of the post you can find the link to Name that Cookie. As a disclaimer we weren't asked to promote this product we just love it and wanted to share!
I mean what dog doesn't want their own personalized cookie? Ivy is on a grain free diet but these cookies didn't upset her tummy at all!
The party girl in all her glory... she had no idea why we were allowing her to gorge herself on treats and toys!
Frenchie Treat Recipe (came with cookie cutter) :
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons dry milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 & 1/2 cup flour (wheat) - healthier option
1. Preheat oven to 350* F
2. Blend eggs and pumpkin, then add salt, dry milk and flour
3. Add water to make it workable, yet stiff
4. Hand-mix everything
5. Roll into layer a little shorter than whatever cutter you are using
6. Cut and place on greased cookie sheet about 1" apart (depending on size of cookie cutter)
7. Bake for 20 min, flip cookies, and bake another 20 min.
We just love this recipe we have tired a few before and they all go bad within a couple days. This however lasts for quite awhile if your pup doesn't eat them all within a few days :)
Thanks for reading and have fun baking!
